The Supreme Court has overturned Roe v. Wade. Arkansas is enforcing its trigger ban to prohibit abortion entirely. Abortion is illegal except in cases where the pregnant person's life is in danger - there are no exceptions for rape or incest. It is now in effect.
Below is a list of resources you can use to find help and further information:
ARKANSAS ABORTION SUPPORT NETWORK
An all-volunteer, nonprofit organization with the mission to reduce barriers to abortion access in Arkansas. Provides financial and logistical support to abortion patients. You’ll find answers on how to volunteer and donate in Arkansas or sign up for their email list.
Find a clinic in a state where abortion is legal. Make your appointment and let the clinic know you need financial assistance. The funding process varies by clinic.
Features a comprehensive directory of trusted and verified abortion service providers in the United States and resources on abortion methods, as well as what to expect before, during, and after getting an abortion.
Trained sexual health educators answer questions about sexual health whenever you have them, always free and confidential. Helps to understand laws and how they may affect options for getting a safe, legal abortion. Find out about financial help that may be available, even if you can’t get an abortion in Arkansas.
Provides up-to-date information on how people in the U.S. can access at-home abortion pill options online.
The US project of “Women Help Women”, a global nonprofit organization that supports the rights of people around the world to have information about and access to safe abortion with pills at home, potential legal risks, counseling resources, and advocacy.
THE BRIGID ALLIANCE
Serves as a point of contact for every step of the abortion journey. Through direct support and in collaboration with a network of partners, Brigid Alliance books, coordinates and pays for travel, accommodation expenses, and childcare.
Online consult for abortion pills by mail. Supports women, girls, trans men, nonbinary, and all people with an unwanted pregnancy to access an abortion if you are healthy and less than 10 weeks pregnant. Good source for latest updates nationwide.
Answers questions about self-managed abortion, or judicial bypass, and the law. Not a source of abortion pills. Women still have legal rights; this hotline can help understand those rights and provide free legal service.
